KnolSeed was developed by Knowledge Foundry Business Solutions to enable eCommerce businesses to understand their customers better and hyper-personalize their messages to each individual customer.

KnolSeed uses deep machine learning and analytics algorithms on large-scale customer data. KnolSeed is built on the AWS Cloud infra and is powered by a data analytics platform built on MongoDB, Redis, Hadoop and RedShift. KnolSeed is a true polyglot system using Ruby-on-Rails for Web application, NodeJS for high traffic services, and Java+Spring for implementing Analytics algorithms and campaign management. On the front-end , while a lot of Javascript code is developed in-house, popular frameworks like Backbone and Angular are used when appropriate.

Our development team is based in Bangalore, India. We have sales presence in San Francisco, London, Sydney and Bangalore. We are currently looking for developers at our Bangalore office and star Sales Managers for our San Francisco, London and Sydney offices.

Requirements: Software Development Engineer (Bangalore)

  • Degree in Computer Science from a top-tier Engineering College.
  • Excited to work in a quick-paced startup environment.
  • Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
  • 3+ years of industry experience.
  • Hands-on experience in writing code in atleast one of Java, Ruby, or Javascript
  • Experience in building scalable backend systems on NoSQL technologies like MongoDB and Cassandra.
  • Experience in building, deploying and managing zero-downtime systems.
